The BOFA 3D PrintPRO 2 is a low-cost unit, that helps to extract fumes generated by an open-framed 3D printer without causing the filament deposition area to be cooled.

It has the benefits of low noise levels and minimal power consumption. Each unit is supplied with a connection hose, ‘stay put’ arm and conical-shaped funnel.

Luke Ziolkowski, International Business Development Manager at BOFA, explains the differences between 3D printing and additive manufacturing. He dives into the challenges facing the 3D printing world and how BOFA technology is keeping pace with this fast-moving sector.

BOFA filtration and atmosphere management systems for additive manufacturing.

In this episode, Richard Heard, Technical Sales Manager at BOFA, guides us through the world of laser engraving and cutting.

From food to fashion, packaging and more, lasering is the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of industrial processes. In this latest episode of our Filtration Matters podcast, Geoff Sagar, a Product Manager at BOFA, highlights how the impact of laser technology grows wider and deeper across industry…and how fume extraction is helping enable a new era of productivity.

Dawn Hartung, Strategic Account Manager for BOFA Americas, discusses how continued growth in 3D print markets is driving the development of new functional materials designed for specific applications and products.

Richard Heard, Technical Sales Manager at BOFA, discusses the increasingly important role of data as industry ups its investment in automation. He also talks about the contribution that digital innovation in industrial fume and dust extraction can make to laser sector productivity.

The AD PVC iQ extraction system has been designed to help deal with the corrosive nature of the fumes generated when lasering PVC materials.

The latest design specification now covers many of the features associated with our “best in class” AD Oracle iQ model as standard but in addition, all internally exposed surfaces have been coated to resist the corrosive nature of the fume and each unit is fitted with HCI and VOC sensors which continually monitor the exhaust air of the unit.

The AD Oracle SA iQ has been enhanced with BOFA’s Intelligent Operating System (iQ), RFA and ACF technology. It uses a smaller pre-filter to the AD Oracle iQ making it ideal for lighter-use applications.

The compact ‘go anywhere’ fume extraction system is feature-packed for big performance in small-scale industrial sites and light laser coding applications.

Incorporating many of the features found on our larger systems, the AD Nano+ is a cost-effective solution for light to medium-duty applications, making it the ideal choice for installations where floor space is limited. Using an auto-voltage sensing blower means the unit can be used anywhere in the world.
